AI for Marketing Teams
Content, research, briefing and creative production with AI. For in-house marketers and agencies.
Marketing teams are usually the first to pick up new AI tools and the first to get inconsistent results. The brief looks great one day, the copy is off-brand the next, and nobody's working from the same approach. The AI for Marketing Teams workshop is a half day that fixes the consistency problem. Your team leaves with a shared prompting approach for briefs, content, research, and creative production — and three workflows rebuilt using your own live briefs.
Built around real work, not a curriculum.
A brief-writing approach that produces better output from any AI tool
Content prompting frameworks for blogs, social, email and scripts
Research and competitor analysis workflows that cut hours out of the process
A brand voice prompt your whole team can use and maintain
Creative direction techniques for AI image and design tools
A shared team prompt library you can keep building after the workshop
By the end of this program.
Write AI briefs that produce on-brand, usable output consistently
Apply structured prompting to content, research and creative production tasks
Build and maintain a brand voice prompt that works across the team
Identify where AI speeds up your workflow and where human review remains essential
None. Works best with teams already using ChatGPT, Claude, or Canva AI in some form, even informally. Agencies and in-house marketing teams both get the same outcomes.
Half-day (3.5 hours). Pre-work: 20 minutes. Bring one live brief or content task you're currently working on — that's what we rebuild in the session.
How the day runs.
The first half of the workshop covers the prompting fundamentals specific to marketing work: brief writing, tone and brand voice, content structure, and research. The second half is applied: every participant rebuilds one live brief or content workflow using the techniques from the first half. We compile the rebuilt briefs into a team prompt library before the session ends. Bring your brand guidelines document and we'll encode your voice into a reusable prompt during the session.
The curriculum.
Good briefs produce good output. This module covers the structure of an effective AI brief: role, context, format, constraints, and iteration. We work through brief templates for the most common marketing tasks — campaign briefs, content briefs, research briefs — and test them live against real tasks participants bring. Research prompting gets equal treatment: how to use AI for competitor analysis, audience research, trend scanning, and fact-checking without ending up with hallucinated statistics.
This module is about producing more content without producing more noise. We cover prompting patterns for long-form, short-form, social and email formats, with worked examples from each. The key techniques: using structure prompts to maintain quality across volume, iteration prompts to refine without starting over, and format prompts that match platform requirements. Every participant leaves with a content prompt template they can reuse.
The most common complaint about AI-generated marketing copy is that it sounds like AI-generated marketing copy. This module covers how to encode your brand voice into a reusable prompt: tone, vocabulary, what to avoid, and worked examples of on-brand output. We also cover creative direction for AI image tools: prompt structures for visual briefs, style references, and iteration techniques for design workflows. Bring your brand guidelines document if you have one.
The final block is applied. Each participant picks their highest-priority content or brief workflow and rebuilds it with a facilitator. We capture before and after on time and quality. The rebuilt workflows go into a shared team prompt library in your tool of choice. The session closes with a review of the library, a naming convention for maintaining it, and a quick walkthrough of where human review remains non-negotiable in a marketing context: legal sign-off, fact claims, client-sensitive material.
What you walk out with.
Three outputs from the session: a brand voice prompt for your team, one rebuilt brief or content workflow per participant, and a shared prompt library covering your most common marketing tasks.

Common questions.
Is this for in-house teams or agencies?+
Both. The prompting fundamentals apply equally. The applied section is built around whatever work participants bring, so in-house teams rebuild internal briefs and agencies rebuild client briefs.
Should we bring our brand guidelines?+
Yes, if you have them. We'll use them during the brand voice module to build a reusable prompt your whole team can use from day one.
What AI tools does the workshop cover?+
Primarily ChatGPT and Claude for written work. We also cover Midjourney and Canva AI for creative direction. Participants use the tools they already have access to.
Our team is fairly junior. Will this still be useful?+
Yes. The fundamentals covered here are the same for every experience level. Junior teams often see the biggest lift because the prompting structure replaces briefs they would otherwise receive from a senior.
Can this run as a full day?+
Yes. Full-day format adds a second applied block: participants rebuild two additional workflows and the session includes a 30-day adoption plan. Ask about full-day pricing when you book.
What size team works best?+
6 to 20 participants. Below 6 there isn't enough variety in the applied section to build a useful prompt library. Above 20 we add a second facilitator for the applied blocks.
